MPFC-Madhya Pradesh Flying Club Indore & Bhopal-pilot training institute reviewed

MPFC or Madhya Pradesh Flying club is a leading pilot training academy in India and one among the cheapest in training. It has 2 branches at Indore and Bhopal respectively. It is operated in busy airports in both Indore and Bhopal. They have multi engine aircrafts and single engine aircrafts at competitive rates, which are described below. They also operate a chartered flying service with their 6 seater multi engine P68. Plans are going on to start chartered services with Cessna 172 too. Operated by a public limited company under Madhya Pradesh State, it is a non-profit venture aiming low cost training for capable students. Operated from busy airports means you will learn more and will have good experience as well.

CPL Program & other courses

Like all other flying schools, CPL program is of 18 months duration and it is only dependent on your exams. Clear your exams soon and you will finish flying earlier. Other courses include PPL which will last for a month or so, Multi engine rating, instrument rating, simulator training etc.

Aircrafts & Fees

As of now there are 6 aircrafts in the corporation. 2 x Cessna 152 @ 8500 Rs/hour, 2x Cessna 172 @ 9500 Rs/hour and 1x P68c and Beach Barron @ 35,250 per hour. Simulators (single engine @ 1500 per hour, Multi @ 2500 per hour).

No placement guarantee is given by MPFC for its students. However the management is keen in providing useful information about upcoming jobs to its students.

Other Facilities

A vast library is there in both academies which provide study materials to pilot trainees. No hostel is provided for the students It is easy to find home-stays and hostels around the premises and so it is not much of an issue. Students can use canteen of airport when they are in their flying session.
